HACU on the Road visit hosted at
Northeastern Illinois University

HACU president and CEO Antonio Flores made a visit to Chicago on August 26 as part of the HACU on the Road tour. Hosted on the campus of Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU), the visit brought together more than 30 local education leaders and supporters of Hispanic higher education. Among the topics discussed by Flores was an overview of the state of Hispanic higher education in Illinois.

Several international stops are next for the HACU on the Road tour, including a visit hosted by the Universidad de Guanajuato on September 9, and another co-hosted by the Universidad de Guadalajara and the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara on September 10. The University of New Mexico will host a visit planned for September 22, and the University of Colorado Denver will host a September 29 stop. More HACU on the Road visits are being planned for spring 2010.
