Flores to discuss successful transfers from community college to four-year institutions

HACU President and CEO Dr. Antonio Flores will speak on the panel, “Increasing Access:  Foundations for Successful Transfer,” during the “Increasing Access through Transfer: The Transfer Conference for Senior Leadership in Higher Education” conference on Sept. 22 in Albuquerque, NM.

The panel will address how community colleges and four-year institutions can facilitate transfer of underrepresented students.

Other panelists include: Dr. Andrew Jones, Executive Vice Chancellor for Educational Affairs for the Dallas County Community College District;, and, Dr. Kavita Pandit, Senior Vice Provost for SUNY System Administration.

Flores will also speak that day at the University of New Mexico where the HACU on the Road tour will make a visit.
