HACU partners with MyCollegeOptions.org to increase access to higher education for Hispanic students

HACU has signed a partnership with My College Options®, the nation’s leading college planning program, to advance the access Hispanic high school students have to higher education.

The partnership will help support HACU’s Hispanic-Serving School District (HSSD) initiative, encourage students to participate in a cutting-edge college planning program, allow HSSDs to have an accurate measure of their students’ post-secondary goals and aspirations, and connect students with essential college and career preparation assistance.

This spring, HACU and My College Options will be supporting school districts across the country and encouraging their participation in this unique initiative.  Later in the year, the program will deliver quantitative research and trend analysis to school districts and superintendents nationwide to help them better understand the attitudes and opinions of students and educators in their districts.  This vital research information will include data such as:  the number of first generation college students, college and career preferences, and attitudes on the current state of Science, Engineering, Technology, and Math education across the country.

MyCollegeOptions.org® is a comprehensive, free online college planning service provided by the National Research Center for College & University Admissions™ (NRCCUA®).  For more information, visit www.nrccua.org.
