HITN, in partnership with HACU, presents its fall TV series of “College Admissions 411”

The Hispanic Information and Telecommunications Network (HITN), in partnership with the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU), presents ten episodes of "College Admissions 411" now available online. The Spanish-language series provides information about the college admissions process.  

Each episode features Spanish-speaking educators who address the issues that really matter to U.S. Latinos who are applying to college. Fall episodes include:

1.      ¡Sí Se Puede! (You Can Do It!)

2.      Estrategias (Strategies)

3.      Junior Year: Paso a Paso (Junior Year: Step by Step)

4.      Senior Year: Paso a Paso (Senior Year: Step by Step)

5.      La Aplicación: A fondo (The Application: In Depth)

6.      La Aplicación: Paso por Paso (The Application: Step by Step)

7.      Ayuda Financiera: ¿Sabía Usted? (Financial Aid: Did You Know?)

8.      Ayuda Financiera: Paso por Paso (Financial Aid: Step by Step)

9.      Estudiantes Indocumentados (Undocumented Students)

10. ¡Sus Calificaciones Sí Son Importantes! (Why Your Grades Matter!)

 “College Admissions 411,” a weekly television series launched in the fall 2009, provides Spanish-speaking students with practical and inspirational advice about how to apply to college. New episodes are currently in production.  The series airs Wednesdays 9:30 pm ET/6:30 pm PT, and Saturdays 12 pm ET/9 am PT, and is available on the program’s dedicated Web site, www.HITN.tv/CA411.
