HACU and CCP announce the 2nd Hispanic College Quiz show 

Central City Productions (CCP), in coordination with HACU, will be producing the second annual “Know Your Heritage: Hispanic College Quiz” game show series. Registration is now closed. Central City Productions will randomly select eight HACU-member institutions and two alternate schools from the submissions. Institutions will be notified once selection is complete. 

The teams, made up of undergraduate college/university students, for the eight institutions selected will compete for a chance to win scholarship funds for their institution. The first place scholarship award will be $10,000 and the second place will be $5,000. The shows will air nationwide, during Hispanic Heritage Month. Airdates will be September 15-October 31.

The “Know Your Heritage: Hispanic College Quiz” series consists of four half-hour quiz shows, hosted by NBC news anchor Zoraida Sambolin. The show will feature Hispanic college students answering a series of multiple-choice questions on Latino history from the book, “Hispanic Firsts: 500 Years of Extraordinary Achievement” by Nicolás Kanellos.
