HACU to host College and Career Fair in San Diego

HACU will host a free College and Career Fair in San Diego, California for area middle school, high school and college students, on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2-5 p.m., as part of HACU’s 24th Annual Conference. The event will be held at the Sapphire West Foyer, the Hilton San Diego Bayfront located at 1 Park Boulevard.

to visit with representatives from colleges and universities. Middle school and high school students and their parents are encouraged to attend. The agenda is listed below:

2 – 5 p.m.Visit with Exhibitors or attend a 30-minute workshop

2:45 – 3:15 p.m.ACT Workshop: Preparing for the Test, Preparing for College - Representative will provide valuable information and research for students to better prepare for college readiness and success.

3:30 – 4 p.m.College Board Workshop - Representatives will discuss free and low-cost student resources that the College Board has available.

4:15 – 4:45 p.m.California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) Workshop- Find out about Cal Grants (funded by the State of California and administered by the CSAC). Other financial aid opportunities, deadlines and application information will be provided.
