HACU accepting scholarship applications for 2011-12

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) is accepting online applications for its Scholarship Program until Friday, June 10, 2011. More than $100,000 will be awarded to eligible students.

Students must meet the following criteria:

  • Enrolled at a HACU-member college or university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico at the time applications are completed and scholarships awarded. 
  • Demonstrate financial need and be eligible for Federal Financial Aid (student must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident).
  • Meet criteria for specific scholarships to which they are applying.
  • Applications and supporting documents must be submitted by Friday, June 10, 2011. Scholarships will be awarded in the fall.

  • Kristen A. Sanchez Deloitte Student of the Year Scholarship
  • NASCAR/Wendell Scott Sr. Award
  • The Deloitte Tax Scholars Program
  • United Health Foundation/Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities Scholarship
