Congress enacts funding for a NSF program focused on HSIs
On May 4, funding for a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant program supporting undergraduate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education at Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) was approved by the 115th Congress as part of the final Fiscal Year 2017 Omnibus spending bill. This new funding has been a key goal of the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) for many years. More>>


HSI funding and immigration key issues at HACU's 22nd National Capitol Forum
HACU's 2017 National Capitol Forum on Hispanic higher education concluded successfully, with representatives from more than 60 institutions making a total of 200 visits with Congressional representatives. HACU also released its 2017 Legislative Agenda. More>>

Submit your Title V program success stories  
HACU is soliciting success stories from higher education institutions whose students have benefited from Title V program funding and the difference it has made on campus. Stories submitted will be considered for publishing in an upcoming issue of The Voice of Hispanic Higher Education magazine. The submission should include a 300-500 word count, a university logo and photos. Email content to Submissions are requested by May 12.
