Generation Study Abroad
Do you know how many students at your college or university will study abroad before graduation? In the U.S. fewer than 10% of students will study abroad, and only 26% of those students are from underrepresented groups. The Institute of International Education's Generation Study Abroad campaign seeks to address this through mobilizing and supporting higher education institutions to greatly increase the number of students who go abroad. Over 400 colleges and universities across the U.S. have made a commitment. There is no fee for joining, and by making an institutional commitment you will gain access to a network of partners, resources for growing study abroad and access to scholarships for students. The deadline to join is March 1, 2017, www.generationstudyabroad.org.
