HSIs to convene in Washington, D.C. April 1-2 for HACU’s Capitol Forum
HACU will host its 24th Annual National Capitol Forum on Hispanic Higher Education April 1-2, 2019, in Washington, D.C. The two day Forum will include two free pre-conference workshops. The Forum, which begins at noon includes sessions to help prepare participants for the state delegation visits to congressional offices on Capitol Hill. HACU and the Ford Motor Company Fund are accepting applications for the “Ford College Community Challenge” grant. Applications are open to students at HACU-member Hispanic-Serving Institutions. Seeking applications from students to collaborate with a non-profit on a proposal to help address a local need that will help make people’s lives better. Three proposals will be awarded a grant.
