HACU’s 26th Annual National Capitol Forum focuses on equitable funding for Hispanic-Serving Institutions
The 2021 Capitol Forum drew more than 300 higher education and student advocates, a record attendance for this event. In a special address to participants, U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona discussed the higher education priorities of the Department, including policies affecting HSIs. Approximately 180 individuals participated in over 100 congressional virtual meetings that spanned across 15 states, to help make the case for equitable funding support for HSIs. More>>

Hispanic-Serving Institutions across the nation total 569
HACU has released an analysis of the 2019-20 Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) enrollment data, which shows an increase in the number of Hispanic-Serving Institutions and continued growth in Hispanic student enrollment at colleges and universities. More>>
