HACU is pleased to offer this space for the benefit of member institutions who are interested in exchanging ideas and information conducive to mutually beneficial international linkages, including student and faculty exchange and other types of academic collaboration.

The space offers access to general information of interest to anyone in the field of international education and a section which is exclusive for HACU national and international members that wish to post information and exchange ideas. For this special section, members will need their HACU member log-in and password information.

What you can do at the International Discussion Boards:

1.      Review recent postings.

2.      Post items of potential interest.

3.      Search for posted items.

If you can not locate your username, please contact memberinfo@hacu.net and request that it be sent to you. Your password may be retrieved by visiting the Members\Member Login Info link at www.hacu.net.

Review Recent Postings. HACU and member institutions may post items of interest  and potential areas of collaboration under “Most Recent Post” to review recent posting. Click on “International (click to view threads)” to view all postings.

Post Items of Potential Interest. HACU and member institutions may post items of potential interest and exchange ideas and information conducive to mutually beneficial international linkages e.g., student and faculty exchange and other types of academic collaboration.

To Post Items: 

1.      Click on “Add New Thread”

2.      Type in the “Thread Title” or the topic of your discussion item.

3.      Add the content of your discussion item under “Content.” Important:  If you wish to be contacted regarding your posting, don’t forget to include your contact information in this section.

4.      Choose to identify yourself by selecting one of the following choices:

            Show my name as an email link e.g., aromo@hacu.net

            Show my name normally e.g., Alvaro Romo

            Post anonymously. No name shown.

Search for Posted Items.  

1.      Enter a keyword in the “Search” box below e.g., students, exchange, faculty, etc.

2.      Click on “Advanced Search” to search by “Author Name” e.g., Romo, by “Title” e.g., International Exchange, Dual Degree Programs, or by “Body” or content of the discussion.
