FORD FUND COVID-19 COLLEGE GRANTS

Ford Motor Company Fund and HACU have teamed up to provide Ford College Mobility COVID-19 Grants for college students needing emergency relief due to the current crisis. Ford College Mobility COVID-19 Grants are $500 one-time relief assistance granted to undergraduate students currently enrolled at HACU-member Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs) who have needs in the 4 categories of:

  1. Food: lack of access to food and nutrition
  2. Housing: inability to pay for needs such as rent, mortgage, electricity bills, water bills, or any other payment needed to maintain shelter
  3. Transportation: inability to pay for transportation to either work or essential needs (e.g., grocery, healthcare visit, etc.)
  4. Technology: inability to purchase devices or internet needed to participate in any digital learning

Ford College Mobility COVID-19 Grants application open on July 15. Winners are selected while funds are available and may not last through the deadline, so we encourage applicants to apply as soon as possible once the application opens.
