 About Government Relations

The mission of the Government Relations Department is to:
  • Serve as a spokesperson and advocate for HACU and HSIs in Washington, D.C., on issues affecting the Latino community in Education.

  • Serve as a conduit between HACU and HSIs and the United States Government for services, resources, communications, etc. that will benefit HSIs. 

  • Serve as a program development, technical assistance office on behalf of the United States Government for HACU and HSIs.
