HACU officials to meet with Costa Rica leaders to discuss higher education
The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) will be in San José, Costa Rica, to discuss international collaboration in higher education on March 30, 2016. HACU president and CEO Antonio R. Flores is set to meet with the President of Costa Rica, Luis Guillermo Solís Rivera, and corporate and higher education representatives. More>>

Hispanic millennial voter registration on the rise
A sizable share of the Hispanic votes in the 2016 election may come from millennials who are reaching voting age for the first time. "The Latino youth are becoming a big part of the election story," said Mark Hugo Lopez, director of Hispanic Research at the Pew Research Center, during HACU’s Capitol Forum. 

HACU celebrates 30th anniversary with commemorative medal 
2016 is a celebratory year for the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU), and joining in  festivities for the City of San Antonio, Texas, Fiesta Week, April 14-21, HACU has unveiled its first Fiesta medal  commemorating its 30th Anniversary since the association was founded in the city and where it will host its 30th Annual Conference on Hispanic higher education on Oct. 8-10, 2016. More>>
