Nestled in the heartland of Don Quixote, the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) wishes to share its capacity and potential in the field of teaching the Spanish language and Spanish culture with other international higher education institutions.
To this end, UCLM offers HACU 50 scholarships to invite faculty from the Spanish as a Foreign Language area and higher education profile to Toledo, for one week.
This invitation is primarily directed at institutions/professors who are considering whether UCLM and Toledo (Spain) could be a suitable destination for a formative extension for their students.

UCLM offers in Toledo the PEDAGOGICAL UPDATE COURSE
"New Perspectives for Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language: Theory, Practice, and Classroom Resources."
Through this course, participants will receive didactic resources based on recent research aimed at stimulating and developing students' communicative competence.
To achieve this, tools will be provided and utilized to facilitate the creation of learning situations linked to linguistic content, written and oral skills, and multiculturalism.

Toledo is our Spanish Classroom.
Learning continues when leaving the classroom, by discovering and enjoying an environment that has the second highest density of monuments in the world, after Rome. Exploring the legacy of the three cultures present in Toledo and connecting with the rich heritage and cultural of the city known for coexistence and tolerance is one of the highlights this course will offer.
