HACU summer internships with Aetna, Chick-fil-A, Deloitte, Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, GE, Hormel, Lockheed Martin and Sodexo are available
The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) is seeking students interested in applying for a summer 2015 internship in the corporate sector.
The summer internship session dates are May 29 - Aug. 8, 2015 (or June 14 - Aug. 22, 2015, for students at institutions on quarter calendars). Students are highly encouraged to apply before the end of the year (and no later than January 16, 2015) for immediate consideration for corporate openings.
Resumes will be reviewed upon receipt for internship placements available with the following corporations: Aetna, Chick-fil-A, Deloitte, Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, GE, Hormel, Lockheed Martin and Sodexo.
The corporations are seeking students in the following majors:
- Accounting
- Agriculture
- Business Administration
- Computer Science
- Culinary Arts
- Economics
- Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Computer)
- Hospitality Management
- Marketing
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale)
- Enrollment in a degree-seeking program at an accredited U.S. institution. Students pursuing only a credential or certificate will be considered ineligible
- Completion of freshman year of college before the internship begins
- Authorization or eligibility to work in the United States by law
