Ford Motor Company Fund, HACU connect students with STEM experts

More than 30 students gained skills for some of the top science, technology, engineering and math careers on Oct. 9 at the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) and Ford Motor Company Fund STEM Summit in Miami Beach, Florida.

The STEM summit was opened to sophomores, juniors and seniors pursuing STEM-related degrees. The one-day summit taught students how to interview with companies, market their resumes and also meet one-on-one with career representatives to be better prepared for the field.

Ford Motor Company Fund awarded $1,000 scholarships to 15 students attending the event. The scholarship recipients are:
