The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) will host its Third PreK-12/Higher Education Collaboration Symposium, a pre-conference event of HACU’s 31st Annual Conference. The symposium will take place Oct. 28, 2017, 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront in San Diego, Calif.
The HACU PK-12/Higher Education Collaboration Symposium will feature presentations on student success initiatives implemented between colleges, universities and school districts. Topics include student engagement, expanding diversity in the teacher pool and pathways for students to restart their education.
The event benefits higher education leaders, PreK-12 administrators and other community stakeholders by promoting and empowering communities in implementing collaborative practices using the resources and connections highlighted during the symposium.
