HACU renews partnership with EPA

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) representatives recently gathered for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

The MOU signing represents an opportunity for both organizations to build on existing collaborations and enhance outreach efforts with Hispanic-Serving Institutions. HACU and EPA have been in partnership since May 1997.

"HACU is excited about renewing our agreement with EPA," said HACU President and CEO Antonio R. Flores. "We hope the partnership will help to address the workforce needs of the federal government for Hispanic talent and to build research and outreach collaborations between EPA and HACU member colleges and universities. Our institutions can have much to contribute to EPA’s mission and in turn can benefit from the expertise and opportunities available at the agency."
