Free webinar to provide information about the HACU National Internship Program
 

The HACU National Internship Program (HNIP) deadline for the summer 2013 session is March 1, 2013 with the first internship session taking place May 31 - Aug. 10, 2013. For students who attend institutions operating on a quarterly calendar, the summer session will be June 17 - Aug. 24, 2013.

Federal and Corporate paid internships are available for students. A free HNIP webinar will cover the program structure, eligibility requirements, and application process.

HNIP places students in internship locations in Washington, D.C., and locations within the U.S. The program is open to all majors. Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale).
  • Enrollment in a degree-seeking program at an accredited institution. Students Pursuing only a credential or certificate will be considered ineligible
  • Completion of freshman year of college before the internship begins
  • Authorization or eligibility to work in the United States by law.

The HACU National Internship Program has placed more than 10,000 students in internships since its inception in 1992. The internships provide talented Hispanic and other minority students with opportunities to develop career and professional skills while receiving financial support to help motivate them towards graduation.
