HACU President to speak at international higher education events in Costa Rica and Guanajuato

HACU President and CEO Antonio R. Flores will be a speaker at higher education international events in Costa Rica on Sept. 9-10, and Guanajuato on Sept. 12, 2014.

In San José, Costa Rica, Flores will speak on several panels during a symposium, “Construyendo Relaciones Internacionales Exitosas del Campus Universitario. Among the topics that Flores will discuss is the 100,000 Strong in the Americas initiative and international opportunities available. Higher education institutions from Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panamá are among those expected to be in attendance. 

In Guanajuato, Mexico, Flores will be the keynote speaker at the “Congreso Interdisciplinario de Cuerpos Academicos CICA-UTSOE 2014,” where he will speak about the internationalization of higher education and the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields. Flores will also discuss HACU’s international activities.
