D.C. Courts present HACU with Community Agency Award

The D.C. Courts' Hispanic Heritage Celebration Committee recently presented the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) with a Community Agency Award. The award was presented at the Community, Outreach, Recognition and Opportunity (CORO) Awards Ceremony on October 10, 2014, in Washington, D.C. The award recognizes HACU for demonstrating its commitment to Latino students and promoting higher education and professional leadership to the Latino community of the District of Columbia and was accepted by Luis Maldonado, Chief Advocacy Officer for the Association.

For more than ten years the D.C. Courts have celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month by recognizing those outstanding individuals and organizations that have provided invaluable services to the Latino community in the District of Columbia.
