HACU International Plenary to focus on role of presidents/CEOs in internationalizing campuses

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities will present an International Plenary on, “The Role of Presidents/CEOs in Internationalizing their Campuses,” Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, 9:00 – 10:15 a.m., as part of its 32nd Annual Conference taking place in Atlanta, Ga. at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.

The plenary will discuss how it has become imperative for higher education to change with the times and expand its own boundaries. It will highlight key strategies to embracing internationalization by the leadership of a university, particularly its president. The discussion will include ways that international collaboration can lead to better relationships between countries and cultures, and the unique role higher education plays in promoting this long-term change.

The plenary will feature university presidents with differing perspectives on internationalization and will include presenters from public and private universities.

The plenary will be moderated by Agnes Mojica, chancellor, Inter American University of Puerto Rico, San Germán.
