College students complete national summer internships with HACU

On August 7, student interns met on Capitol Hill for a farewell reception to conclude their summer internships. Speakers at the reception included former interns of the HACU National Internship Program. Earlier this summer, college students from all across the country were selected for summer paid positions under the HACU National Internship Program now in its 26th year.

Over two hundred students from colleges and universities across the country participated in HACU’s National Internship Program. Students served in paid internships at federal and corporate agencies. More than half of the students served their internships in the Washington, D.C., metro area and others were located at field locations nationwide.

The next application deadline is Oct. 26, 2018 for the spring session (Jan. 09 - April 26, 2019). Information is available at http://www.hacu.net/hnip
