ÉXITO: CIA Career Exploration Boot-Camp application deadline extended

The application deadline for the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities and Central Intelligence Agency ÉXITO: CIA Career Exploration Boot-Camp has been extended to March 1, 2020. Up to 30 college freshmen will be selected to participate in a two-day career exploration event at the CIA facility in the spring of 2020. Students selected receive a travel award to cover event registration, round-trip airfare to Washington, D.C., meals and lodging for the duration of the event.

Students will meet with CIA hiring managers, staff and organizational leaders and attend workshops and networking activities to learn about the work culture and expectations for pursuing career opportunities with the CIA.

Eligibility criteria:

  • U.S. citizens
  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate freshman at a HACU-member institution
  • Enrolled in 12 credit hours minimum in their first term
  • Have excellent writing and briefing skills
  • Have an interest in serving as a civilian in the intelligence community
  • Able to meet CIA suitability requirements and background investigation (character and conduct)
