HACU’s Ninth Annual Deans’ Forum to focus on blueprint for thriving HSIs

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities will host its Ninth Annual Deans’ Forum on Hispanic Higher Education, a post-conference event of HACU’s Virtual 34th Annual Conference on October 29, 2020. Presenters will discuss the topic "From Hispanic-Serving to Hispanic-Thriving: A Blueprint for Success."

The half-day event will begin with a keynote presentation by Gina Ann Garcia Ph.D., associate professor of administrative and policy studies at The University of Pittsburgh.

A panel session will include:

  • Marla Franco Ph.D., Assistant Vice Provost for HSI Initiatives, The University of Arizona
  • Romero Jalomo Ph.D., Vice President for Student Affairs, Hartnell College
  • Jennielle Strother, Vice President of Enrollment Management, Concordia University Texas
