HACU accepting applications from college students for a virtual Emerging Leaders’ Summit on Feb. 26

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is accepting applications for a virtual Emerging Leaders’ Summit on Feb. 26, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. CST, to be hosted with Texas A&M University – San Antonio. Students must be enrolled at a HACU-member institution in San Antonio, Texas or in the surrounding area, (see list below). Online application deadline is Feb. 10, 2021.

The one-day virtual Summit will include career development workshops designed for students majoring in STEM, accounting, business, finance, communications, and marketing programs with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Click here to apply.

Workshop topics will focus on career opportunities, tips for resume writing, interviewing, and securing internships. Students will also have an opportunity to meet with corporate and federal employers in attendance.

Five participants will receive scholarships to attend the 2021 HACU ¡Adelante! Leadership Institute (Student Track) of HACU’s 35th Annual Conference to be held at Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center, Aurora, CO., October 30-November 1, 2021. See list of eligible institutions below.
