HACU National Internship Program announces 2023 dates

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities has announced the 2023 session dates and deadlines for the HACU National Internship program. HNIP offers an opportunity for college students to gain real world working experience while working at various federal agencies across the country. 

The Internship sessions are a 15-week span during the fall program and a 10-week span during the summer program. The Internship program offers virtual, hybrid and in-person formats. To apply click here.

The following are the session dates and deadlines for 2023:

• Spring (Jan 9-April. 22, 2023) - Deadline: Oct. 31, 2022
• Summer (June 5-Aug. 12, 2023) for students on regular calendar - Deadline: Feb.28, 2023 
• Summer (June 19-Aug. 26, 2023) for students on quarter calendar - Deadline: Feb.28, 2023
• Fall (Sept 4-Dec.16, 2023) - Deadline: June 30, 2023

*Business and biology students from Minnesota, Connecticut, Kansas, Iowa and Northern California are in high demand for spring internships from USDA.

Applications for paid internship positions within the following agencies are being accepted: Agricultural Research Service, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, Food and Nutrition Service, Forest Service, Natural Resources Conservation Service, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights, U.S. Census Bureau, Centers for Disease Control, Food and Drug Administration, National Institutes of Health CC, National Institutes of Health OD, Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration, Departmental Offices, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
