HACU members are invited to attend a free webinar on May 2, 2023, at 12 p.m. CT.
The National Science Foundation (NSF) is committed to broadening participation, as evident through the variety of investment priorities related to preparing a diverse, globally engaged STEM workforce, integrating research with education, and building capacity and expanding efforts to broaden participation from underrepresented groups and diverse institutions.
The NSF HSI program is designed to support HSIs in their efforts to develop initiatives, policies, and practices (mindful of socio-cultural awareness) and address STEM curricula to meet all students' needs. Participants attending this webinar will learn tips on how to align their student success initiatives for an NSF HSI proposal submission and have a general understanding of the NSF Merit Review Process.

As an initiative that centers social justice and equity, we strive to co-create safe(r) spaces with our community that honor the worth and dignity of our participants. ADVANCE EiSCC registrants must not only agree to upholding an environment free of discrimination, harassment, or any other emotional or physical harm, but also commit to a code of conduct that embraces this community vision.
