HACU's 37th Annual Conference to feature workshops on excellence in leadership

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities 37th Annual Conference will feature more than 50 workshops that address the theme, "Diversifying our Workforce and Strengthening America" in seven tracks. The conference will be held in person at the Hilton Chicago, Oct. 28-30, 2023, along with its pre- and post-conference events.

The following are the workshop topics to be presented under Track Four - Excellence in Leadership:

  • Emergiendo para Servir: Building Capacity through Stakeholder Voices
  • HACU Professional Leadership Programs—Preparing the Next Generation of Culturally Diverse Leaders
  • The SUNY Hispanic Leadership Institute: Diversifying and Creating Supportive Spaces
  • Baila Conmigo: Mentoring Latinas as School Leaders
  • Capacity Building and the Importance of Leadership through Title V
  • Becoming the Second Hispanic-Serving Institution in the State of Georgia
  • Community Partnerships: Embracing the Latino Community
