HACU and the United Health Foundation announce student recipients of the Diversity in Health Care Scholarship

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities, in partnership with the United Health Foundation, awarded the Diversity in Health Care Scholarship. A total of 95 students from HACU-member institutions will receive a renewable scholarship in the amount of $5,000 per year.

Scholarships were available to qualifying students who are pursuing degrees that will lead to careers as clinical professionals that include physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, certified nurse midwife, nurse, pharmacist, dentist, social worker, addiction counselor, clinical psychologist or related clinical profession.

Additionally, students will have the opportunity to attend the ¡Adelante! Leadership Institute at HACU’s Annual Conference

The United Health Foundation’s Diversity in Health Care Scholarship provides support to the 2023-24 HACU Scholarship Program.
