Tomorrow: Carnegie Elective Classification for Community Engagement Webinar

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities in partnership with the American Council on Education (ACE) invites HACU members to an enriching discussion on the Carnegie Elective Classification for Community Engagement. The webinar will take place on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. EST. Click here to register.

This critical self-assessment tool has undergone recent revisions aimed at addressing the dynamics of community engagement in academic institutions. Webinar highlights:

  • Understand how robust community engagement strategies can be transformative for HSIs.
  • Gain deeper insight into the importance of the Elective Classification for Community Engagement.
  • Discover the latest amendments made for the 2026 application, including the introduction of a section addressing civic and democratic engagement.
