HACU Webinar: Hispanic-Serving Institutions: Enriching, Learning, Programs, and Student Experiences Solicitation (NSF 24-551)

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is hosting a HACU-member webinar titled, “Hispanic-Serving Institutions: Enriching, Learning, Programs, and Student Experiences Solicitation (NSF 24-551),” on April 18, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. CT.

The webinar will focus on a new solicitation that supports Hispanic-Serving Institutions reimagine and/or strengthen courses, degrees programs, departments, or divisions in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. The Hispanic-Serving Institutions: Enriching, Learning, Programs, and Student Experiences (HSI: ELPSE) solicitation is a part of the larger Improving Undergraduate STEM Education: HSI program at NSF. The HSI: ELPSE solicitation is specifically focused on studying and improving the student experience, including implementing, testing, and refining promising practices and/or conducting research related to improving outcomes for undergraduates in STEM.

The webinar will be presented by Sonja Montas-Hunter, Ph.D., program officer at the National Science Foundation, and, Michael Ferrara, Ph.D., program director at the National Science Foundation.
