HACU Latino Higher Education Leadership Institute accepting registrations

HACU will host the 8th Annual Latino Higher Education Leadership Institute on Sat., Oct. 31 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Walt Disney Resort®, Florida. The Latino Leadership Institute is a pre-conference event.

This year’s theme, “Opportunity Out of Crisis: Latino Higher Education, Thinking Outside the Box,” explores how underrepresented students and programs are being disproportionately hurt by the economic crisis. Topics to be discussed include effective Latino leadership strategies being used during turbulent times; how agents of change think outside the box; and, what effective innovations for student retention and success are in use.
