HACU on the Road tour resumes

HACU on the Road will make various visits in 2010 beginning with an international visit to Mexico in late January and followed by several Texas campus visits.

The meetings, led by HACU President & CEO Antonio Flores, are part of an initiative launched by HACU in spring of 2009 to promote national and international dialogue about the state of Hispanic higher education. Flores will meet with chancellors, presidents of colleges and universities, superintendents of Hispanic-Serving School Districts, corporate leaders and supporters of Hispanic higher education.  

The following are confirmed dates for upcoming scheduled visits.

  • January 28, 2010 - Mexico City, Mexico, hosted by Sodexo, Mexico 
  • February 10, 2010 - Dallas, TX, hosted by Mountain View College 
  • February 11, 2010 - Houston, TX, hosted by University of Houston – Downtown
  • February 18, 2010 - San Antonio, TX, hosted by Our Lady of the Lake University
  • March 10, 2010 - Phoenix, Arizona, hosted by Maricopa County Community College District
  • March 18, 2010 - Miami, FL, hosted by St. Thomas University
