HACU accepting applications from undergraduate students for the Leader-in-Residence Program

HACU is accepting applications for the Leader-in-Residence Program, a career and leadership development program available to students from HACU-member institutions across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. HACU’s premier conference on Hispanic higher education will feature its regular lineup of events, including an exhibit hall; an opening plenary; an International Plenary on the topic of "Resilience, Recovery and Retooling in Post-Pandemic Higher Education: Lessons Learned and Applied in Diverse International Settings"; and a Town Hall on "The Synergies of HSIs and Latino/as in Clean Energies: Making America the Powerhouse of the World's Economic Prosperity." The U.S. EPA has approximately $12 million in funding for environmental job training grants is now available under the Fiscal Year 2023 Brownfields Job Training Program.Applications due Aug. 2, 2022, via grants.gov.

Community Health Worker Training Program Deadline: June 14

The KPMG U.S. Foundation has launched a new grant and matching gift program, Reaching New Heights promoting access and equity in higher education, awarding five institutions $25,000 each for new or existing diversity programs within a school of business, technology or law. Deadline to express interest is June 30, 2022; application submission deadline of Aug. 15, 2022. More at the online application.

The National Research Center on Hispanic Children & Families offers a new grant program for early career faculty at Hispanic Serving Institutions or Emerging Hispanic Serving Institutions.
